Frequently Asked Questions
There is no reservation required to eat at our restaurant! However, you can place a reservation by telephone (217) 279-5299 or by email yum@lazydaisydiner.com, typically we only take reservations for parties of 8 or more. If it’s the same day, why not join our online waitlist and get notified as soon as your table is ready?
BOTH! And more! We have coffee, iced coffee, iced tea, lychee lassi’s, strawberry matcha, and on and on. You can have a drink at the cafe or take it to go, along with something from our great selection of grab and go salads, sandwiches… I can go on and on. We also have a full restaurant with delectable breakfast, lunch, and brunch options. You can come in and grab a glass of wine or beer, or have one of our house cocktails. You can come for a meal and go, grab some coffee and hang around and work, or just stop by to pick up a salad for later in the day!
We are located at the South Entrance of the Lincoln Square Mall in Downtown Urbana, IL. You can get to us from inside the mall or from our own entrance on the South Side. Technically our address is 140 Lincoln Sq, but the best way to get to us is from Illinois St between Race St and Vine St. Look for our sign!
We do indeed! Being a new restaurant, we are operating on a limited menu, but we have great vegetarian and vegan options, including vegetarian biscuits and gravy, a vegan chickpea salad sandwich, and more! There will be more vegetarian and gluten free options when we reveal our full menu!
Currently our Cafe is open from 7am-6pm Monday-Friday and 7am-4pm Saturday and Sunday.
The Diner is open from 7am-3pm every day except for Tuesday.
We are ready for you and your family! We have low chairs and high chairs, and kid-ready bathrooms. Our cafe provides a pleasant waiting area environment and the mall is an excellent place for kids to run around while you’re waiting for a table. Even better, join our waitlist and walk around while you wait to be seated!

It is true, we were nominated for the best brunch spot in CU, but that is before we even opened up! Let me put it this way, our Executive Chef, Joel, is no slouch!
